Best carpet protector?

(Zen) #1

Hi folks, does anyone have a good recommendation for a carpet protector. I have been using Hippo but had an issue a couple of times with it leaving a slightly sticky residue.

I’ve trialled a few - the Hippo was the cheapest and the worst performer. both residue and hard to lay flat on stairs

Packexe is my choice - excellent in every way

where can you buy from Dave?

Packexe paved the way, other companies may not have followed so well.

packexe is widely available, I go direct to buy 4 x 100m rolls although they seem to have their retail price controlled very well (no discounts!)

Thanks Dave, i will look it up.
I just ordered some roll n stroll to try. Any experience with it?

yes Roll&Stroll (yellow) is really good too - and its reverse wound (the adhesive is on the outside) so you can lay it on the carpet and kick it out

(Zen) #8

Ah thats good to know, i ordered some packexe 30mtres for £14 delivered.
Thanks Dave

Love the roll n stroll, about £30 for75metres, lays down lovely and good adhesion.
