Different ways that photographs can help with running a decorating job

Continuing the discussion from Painting tips!:

This was an interesting suggestion from @jrsl_interiors where he takes photos to cover any misunderstandings about the condition of a room or work area before he starts to work there.

What other angles are there for picture taking? I have seen on Jack Pauhl, something akin to a photo spec, highlighting areas of attention for the painters to work to, presumably to pinpoint issues and cut down on chit chat explanations.

I always carry my iPad,photos make excellent porfollo,to show customer,before and after shots,I also use them on my promotional videos,I think it is also a good idear to have proof off any damage in room so your back is covered,also photos after so you can show you achieved a good standard off work in the event off a legal dispute.
