Treat bare wood with Osmo hardwax oil

(Andy Crichton) #1

There are various options for protecting new internal woodwork with a clear or lightly tinted coating.

For doors, frames and general woodwork, consider Osmo Polyx-oil and for kitchen worktops, Osmo Top Oil. The German eco products tick most of the boxes for ease of use, looks and easy maintenance.

Martin Dunn, Traditional Painter in Stafford has explained how to apply Osmo Polyx-oil on a large internal decoration project, and also how to tint and protect wooden worktops to produce a tough ebony finish.

If you have any other experience of the Osmo range or tips for applying their products, please add them below.
