Abranet

Hi folks, thought it might be usefull, having a list of what grade abranet to use for different situations?

I tend to only use a few grades with my Mirka Deros. I have some 40 for ripping off really rough stuff then I quickly move to 80 and finish with 120 if I am then painting. I rarely use anything finer unless it is wood which is in plain sight i.e. stair panels. I find 120 gives a good surface adhesion for most paint.

With my Festool RTS400 I go down to 400 when I am doing fine wood like mirror surrounds or maybe a kitchen cupboard.

The Mirka is used for the donkey work and the Festool for more fine stuff or for areas with corners.
