Tips for exterior painting

Painting exterior door, I put plywood down. It is cut around so could lye by door. I placed caution tape around the edges of board, it looks good.

I used water to wet path. That really stops the dust. Using freezer bags with zips to store my brushes.

Been using Otex fast drying on exteriors, but 24 hour recoat so its a waiting game, but great stuff,

Anyone know a water based primer undercoat that could compete with Otex.

Anyone tried johnsons aqua gloss and undercoat,

Used green frogtape around glass on door. What’s the maximum time this should be left on for, to avoid trouble taking it off?
